Unfinished, Used Star Wars Storm Trooper Armor Full Size Movie Prop with Helmet
This is ATA Stormtrooper armor that I bought in 2010. Originally meant to be a Sandtrooper once finished, I trimmed, sanded, and glued all of the parts to fit my body. I HAVE NOT painted, fiberglassed, or strengthen any of the original PVC parts. Thigh, and shin parts have been secured with Sandtrooper parts. Helmet has been tacked together with screws that came with the kit, but isn’t finished. Most parts have removable velcro pieces used for fitting. Shoulder bells and bicep pieces are the only parts where straps are sown into the inside pieces, thus securing them together. My measurements are Height: 5 11 Weight: 225 lbs. Jacket/Coat: 46/L, Collar: 17 1/2, Sleeve: 34″/35″, Waist: 42, Inseam: 32. I have additions cut out that can be velcroed to the inside of the front and back waist plates so that it can fit guys my size seemlessly. This sale is for a 1:1 full size stormtrooper helmet from the famous Star Wars saga. The helmet is constructed from industry standard gelcoat and fibreglass approx 2mm thick. Carefull construction ensures no weak areas within the laminate. The interior is flowcoated giving a smooth surface. The helmet is finished with quality automotive acrylic spray paints giving a hard wearing white gloss finish. The helmet is produced from a quality matrix mold giving an appearance of multipart construction. Parts of helmet are detailed with quality modelling acrylic paints giving excellent colour match to the vinyl decals used. Industry standard vinyl graphics are applied to the helmet. Glossy and wont chip away. The helmet is fitted with thermoformed dark acrylic lenses. These can be seen through although the users face cannot be seen. The helmet is an alternative to vac formed products with the advantage of easy repairs if the helmet becomes accidently damaged. No internal padding is fitted to the helmet. Star Wars ANH Stormtrooper Armor- Without Helmet 100% screen accurate
It has been vacuum-formed in White Styrene and is 100% screen accurate with direct Star Wars ANH movie linage. The armor is 60g thick just like the original screen worn armor. Since it cast cast from the inside of a screen worn suit it will have all the details of the 30 year old original suit, it will include all the details. The molds have not been modified to take these details out. Once assembled it will look like you walked right off the movie theater screen back in 1977. The armor for sale comes unassembled and is just the vacuumed formed pieces. The armor will need to be trimmed, sanded, assembled and painted. The armor is 60g (1.57mm) thick, which is the same thickness as the original suits of armor worn in the Star wars films. The suit fits heights between 5’7″ – 6″2. The suit can be modified to fit huskier Troopers. Please note: This is a kit and it does require a medium level or higher skill in order to assemble it. Take your time assembling it it will look great once put together. This kit also includes a Sandtrooper knee plate and abdomen buttons. So you now can build either a Stormtrooper or a Sandtrooper all in one kit. Please note: The Armor is white however it will need to be painted or polished to get a glossier finish (Novus #1). The kit also comes with extra plastic for creating ANH Stormtrooper strips. There will be no instructions included but many helpful tutorials can be found on the web.
