This sale is for a 1:1 full size stormtrooper helmet from the famous Star Wars saga. The helmet is constructed from industry standard gelcoat and fibreglass approx 2mm thick. Carefull construction ensures no weak areas within the laminate. The interior is flowcoated giving a smooth surface. The helmet is finished with quality automotive acrylic spray paints giving a hard wearing white gloss finish. The helmet is produced from a quality matrix mold giving an appearance of multipart construction. Parts of helmet are detailed with quality modelling acrylic paints giving excellent colour match to the vinyl decals used. Industry standard vinyl graphics are applied to the helmet. Glossy and wont chip away. The helmet is fitted with flat green lenses just like the original screen helmets. The helmet is an alternative to vac formed products with the advantage of easy repairs if the helmet becomes accidently damaged. No internal padding is fitted to the helmet. I’ve added two brand new never used pads for your head. I also have some additional ones (pictured) you can position for your head size. Just stick Velcro where they need to go (velcro provided). As anyone will tell you, it is up to your 501st GML to determine if this is approved, but I will say that I currently use this helmet with my 501st approved TK and used it to get it approved. You should not have a problem getting approved with this helmet. This is not a toy. This is a thick ABS stormtrooper helmet meant to look like the screen used helmets. I have an EFX stormtrooper helmet for sale. This is the “stunt” A New Hope Version. Helmet is in excellent, like-new condition. It is adult owned, coming from a child and smoke-free home and was stored in a glass cabinet out of direct sunlight. The helmet is slightly modified to look more “accurate” in which I drilled out an extra hole on each side of the “frown” (shown in a sample picture above). When I received this helmet, the felt mesh that covers the frown on the inside of the helmet, were loose so I affixed them with scotch tape. (In sample picture above).
