This sale is for a very accurate Stormtrooper helmet as seen in Star Wars A New Hope (Episode IV). Here’s some details. Made from a khaki PP helmet kit (very close in shape and material used to a screen used helmet). I guess that many of you knows how accurate is this helmet, especially in this type of plastic (close to an original). Ears made out of white ABS. Whole helmet primered with special plastic primer. Thus the finish stick very well on the helmet. Finished just like it have been done for the screen used helmet: red primer, white gloss automotiv paint (paint + hardener), weathering. Handpainted details for the teeth, vocoder, ears, teardrops and traps. U brow trim and S shaped neck trim. Lens made out of green acetate sheet, yellow star padding. Mic tips made out of three white resin parts (very accurate 3d printed parts): hollow body, nipple and back with the screw. Chin strap with vintage military (Newey) fasteners. I managed to get this helmet as accurate as possible. I didn’t wanted to make a clean helmet but more something close to an helmet during filming (with weathering but no cracks on the paint). Assembly, paint, details, accessoiries, etc.. It’s way more an helmet made for hardcore collectors who wants something really really close to an original, thus an helmet for collecting and not really for trooping. You can wear it but if you troops with it, this helmet will become just like an original prop today. Not idealized, not a very clean licenced replica just like MR or EFX.
