This listing is for a previously displayed RS Prop Masters Stormtrooper Stunt Helmet prop replica. The helmet is made from ABS plastic and was produced from a mold of an original screen used helmet from Star Wars A New Hope and was assembled by RS in England using the same techniques used by the original prop makers. Because of its direct lineage from a real screen used prop, it includes all of the asymmetry and uniqueness of the original helmet. This is as accurate as you can get without owning the original. I was not the original owner of this helmet, so it may have been used for cosplay purposes in the past, but it has only been displayed as a prop while in my possession. The helmet is in excellent condition. This listing does not include a display stand or certificate of authenticity, however there is an RS Propmasters seal inside the helmet. For the original Stormtrooper Helmets, an initial run of 50 “Stunt” helmets were made. These were asymmetrical, rougher looking helmets for the background Strormtroopers. Following this 6 “Hero” helmets were made for close-up work and these were the helmets worn by Han and Luke when in Stormtrooper Armor. Not only is this a First Edition helmet (only 100 produced) but its an extremely rare Artists Proof helmet. Comes with stand, Artists Proof plaque and certificate of authenticity. For your consideration is a RS Prop Masters Stormtrooper ABS Helmet Kit. These are the most screen accurate Stormtrooper helmets you can get as they are cast from from an original screen used helmet from Star Wars. I already did the trimming of the parts and assembled the basic helmet. All you will need to do is paint the frown, the chin grill part and the rectangles on the ears. You will also receive a set of ESB trapezoid and cheek stripe decals from RS Prop Masters. Normally you do not receive the decals with a kit from them but I asked nicely when I ordered this one. You will get everything you need to complete this helmet (except the paint and paint brushes). I do not have the time to finish this great helmet so my loss is your gain. The props they produced are the same movie quality of the original trilogy helmets. This helmet was a limited run of the trooper who spoke the iconic words, look sir, droids. Colin Michael Kitchens is a movie producer and played the stormtrooper roles. This helmet is painted and molded to the same specifications as in the movie. This helmet has been altered with Military cushioning, black mesh for the grill, and hero bubbled eyes, but I can revert it back to the original stunt version.
