For sale is a TM ANH Stunt Stormtrooper helmet accurately reproduced to resemble a screen used helmet from the 1977 movie Star Wars: A New Hope. The helmet is made from 1.5mm ABS that was painted khaki to resemble the original Polypropylene plastic that was used to make the helmets. It was primed with red primer then white, with overspray showing inside the helmet. The ear caps were added using the correct M3.5 brass screws and the whole helmet treated to three coats of white gloss. All detail work was hand painted using Humbrol paints and slight weathering was added to give it an aged look. The interior features a yellow foam liner, green acetate lens and an elastic chin strap with rare Newey snap fasteners added. Rubber trims and resin mic tips complete the helmet. This helmet would make a fantastic display piece or alternatively would look just as good on anyone wanting to troop.
