A life size wooden Stormtrooper helmet. Hello and thanks for viewing my listing! This is, simply put, the greatest thing I have made so far. It is a life size storm-trooper helmet sculpture, made from solid chestnut wood and sculpted completely by hand. I have been working on this project for well over a year on and off, so it’s kind of hard to say how many hours it took, but it was really hard to make as the reference was just photos of the original storm-trooper helmets worn in Episode IV: A new hope. This is a fan-made item and it took much time, effort and love to make. The helmet is not hollow, it is not a wearable item, it is a sculpture made to be an exact replica of the original trilogy helmets. That being said, there are many variations from movie to movie and even from scene to scene. I tried to keep this as consistent as possible. The finish is satin varnish to give it the best protection possible and that almost shiny look. The colors are wood stain in two different shades (wenge and walnut) to stand in for the black and grey colors of the original. The helmet in the pictures is lacking a base. This is a one of a kind item. It was made completely by hand, thus it is unique. A one of a kind item for a collector. And a stellar addition to any collection.
