Original Star Wars Stormtrooper Full Costume Armour & Helmet – signed by Andrew Ainsworth at Shepperton Design Studios (SDS). [A New Hope 1976 Replica]. The best and Original Stormtrooper armour, handmade by the original prop maker himself, Andrew Ainsworth. This armour is made of the highest quality acrylic capped ABS, which means it’ll see you through all of your Trooping commitments, from defeating the rebel scum to looking for those evasive droids. Cast from the original moulds used for “A New Hope”, this original range is all individually made and is the closest you can get to owning one of the Original Stormtrooper armours used on-screen. The ready-to-wear armour is expertly made and the most authentic set available. Cast from “A New Hope” legacy moulds this armour maintains an incredible level of detail. Andrew Ainsworth and his team have used modern thermoplastics and time tested techniques to produce a set of armour that looks great on a mannequin and can be worn for active trooping. Made of Acrylic Capped ABS Strong enough to withstand the rigours of costuming Gloss level/Colour match to the original helmets Ready-to-wear straight out of the box Integrated strap system Black body gloves & hand armour included Thermal detonator & neck seal included. Observations/condition: Interior of breast plate signed by Andrew Ainsworth himself. Overall good used condition. There are some minor marks & small/thin cracks. There is a thin crack on the front of the crotch plate, which has been repaired & is not noticeable when worn. The only visible damage is to the top of the right calf piece (please see photos for details). Black body under-suit is not included. The Stormtrooper Battle Spec Helmet. Made by the original prop maker using copies of the moulds created for “A New Hope”, this Stormtrooper range is created from ABS white plastic and so is very flexible, which makes it great for all day trooping. Similarly to the Original range, these accurate replicas are designed to be worn or proudly displayed. Helmet has been developed specifically for Active Trooping using a durable, lightweight ABS. This helmet is based on the’Original Stunt’ model and has been modified from the original moulds for a better fit. Moulded parts accurately replicate details of the original Stunt Helmet The asymmetry of the original Stunt has been squared up The back of the helmet is blown up and belled out Fabricated in white flexible ABS perfect for the wear and tear of costuming & trooping events. Observations/condition: There is a small split to the underside of the helmet which has been repaired & is not visible when being worn. Internally the helmet has been modified to include extra foam for comfort and has had more wear/usage than the body armour.
